Carrie asked us to bring special hats as one of our breaks is going to be a "tea" social. I don't really have a special hat and had to strain my poor little brain very hard... I came up with the idea of making British "fascinators" similar to what the women wore to Prince William and Kate's wedding last year.
I've made four so far and have another one cut out and ready to start. Who knew it would be this much fun!!

Okay, I'm jealous! Are you sure you stand by the "no babies allowed" decree?
It is going to be strange without you and Alison (I never heard back)!! I wish you were coming but it wouldn't be fair of me to change the rule/creed of the Scrappy Ladies Retreats because I really want my niece to come!!
If you were to wear a fascinator for, say, Halloween, what colour would it be?
I'm missing you and wishing the next retreat was just around the corner.
