Raindrops keep falling on my head

I learned a terrible truth this morning.  Did you know that Starbucks Chai Tea Cafe Latte is not decaffeinated?  I didn't.  Had to make my own - Twinings Decaffeinated Chai Tea isn't as wonderful but its good.

We are supposed to be on the highway going to Prairie Oasis Park by Sheerness, AB [The Sheerness Generating Station is located about 200 kilometers northeast of Calgary near Hanna; 102 km north of Brooks off Hwy 36].  The majority of Alberta’s electric energy comes from coal-fired generating stations like Sheerness.  The campground is on the beach of the "cooling pond" (water is pumped from the Red Deer River into the pond to provide water for the station and the generators cause the "cooling pond" to become warm water.   I was looking forward to finding out just how warm this water was going to be.

The weather forecast took a nasty turn yesterday [most likely because I took today off of work to camp - 2 hour drive from home].   Hanna is supposed to have 45 km/hour winds today or tomorrow; rain, thunderstorms... so we checked the weather network for Taber and Brooks.   The winds are less at those two places but still rain and thundershowers.   Also, have a cold coming on and feel kind of lethargic.... we decided to hang around home and see if the rain is going to stop.   Tomorrow and Sunday are supposed to be nice.

Think I will have to scrapbook for awhile...
