This used to say, "Musings of a wannabe retiree/full time scrapbooker/ sewer/quilter/world traveller". However, I was forced to retire earlier than expected when I became too ill to work in May, 2016. So now I guess I'm going to remain a wannabe world traveller. Some day when we win the lottery I guess.

Watercolour painting Scrapbook Cardstock
I've been trying to make my own patterned scrapbook paper using water colour washes and spritzes. Its messy but a lot of fun.
Spring Fingers
At least my finger nails look spring-ish! [check out the tiny lemon, lime and orange slices my manicurist made herself from hobby clay]!
I don't know why I decided not to go to the greenhouse to pick up my flower baskets and buy plants for the front flower garden (well, partly because I haven't cleaned out last fall's mess), but I'm glad I put it off. There is a possibility of a frost tonight; a light frost; but a frost nonetheless. It has rained ever since we got home from our trip to BC - 10 days now. Probably growing webbed feet now.
I may just have to have spring on my hands -> next manicure I think I'll have watermelon fingers!
